Feel bad that I haven't posted in forever, but that doesn't mean I haven't been crafty. Re-coned some onsies of aidens that came out pretty cute as little bags. Attempted my very first face mask and now know how to do it better for my second try. Tried to save a shirt I got really cheap in Korea, but all to no avail so now its in my scrap fabric supplies. And I Did a lot of mending. So in someways I feel I have been productive but it hasn't given me anything new to wear.
Now that I caught that up with things i have done (despite months of doing nothing) I will tell you whats coming up. I am currently in the Research and planning stage for my very first Renaissance Fair costume. I think to start off I will do the Wench look since its easy. But I keep changing my mind as to all the pieces I need to make. A great resource though has been this website. http://www.elizabethancostume.net/index.html So incredibly useful I don't even really need to look for any others. Bought about 10 yards of some basic muslin at the fabric district this weekend to make a smock and practice corset and/or bodice making. then I will go out and get some fabric for skirts, bodices and petticoats. I don't know like I said still planning at this moment.
